  Why Live in the MST Kappa Delta chapter house?

1. It's fun! Just think of all the friends close by.

2. It's safe!  A "no-open flame"  and a "No Smoking" policy help prevent the two leading causes of residential fires along with regular smoke detector maintenance.

3. It's convenient! The MST Kappa Delta house is just a 5 minute walk from campus. You can come home from class, eat lunch, and go back to class.

4. It's fun! Just think of all the things to share.

5. It's secure! The MST Kappa Delta house is locked 24/7; has coded door locks, so no losing your keys; and has a private, well-lit, parking lot.

6. It's clean! The MST Kappa Delta house is thouroughly cleaned by professionals during Christmas and Summer breaks. In the meantime, the house is kept clean by a rotating shift of chores for all girls living in house.

7. It's fun! You'll find friendship and sisterhood everywhere.

8. It's nutritious! The MST Kappa Delta has a full time cook, who prepares healthy meals for 5 lunches and 4 dinners a week, and leave weekend food to warm-up over the weekend.  Also, there is always breakfast food and snacks as well as the "Save a Plate" program for the busy girl who might not be able to make a regular meal.

9. It's legal! No drugs, alcohol, or firearms, anytime, anywhere, period.

10. It's fun! There's always someone to talk to or hang out with.

11. It's smart! Dedicated study areas, study groups, sharing class notes, internet wiring for every girl, computer availability, and quiet hours -- all contribute to a positive environment in which to study.

12. It's affordable! The MST Kappa Delta housing is comparable to other residential housing on campus combined with a meal plan, and so much more! (See the Housing Brochure for more info
)

13. It's fun! You'll make memories to last a lifetime. Your fondest memories of Kappa Delta will occur in the chapter house... you don't want to miss out!

  When my daughter moved into the Kappa Delta house, I knew she would have good hot meals, a clean and safe environment, and most of all be surrounded by people who care about her. As a parent, that is a great feeling when your daughter is away at college. If she can't be living with me, I'm glad she's living with Kappa Delta's!

The sorority living experience is not on ly a wonderful opportnity for fun and community, it is likely the safest living environment available on campus. Kappa Delta is constantly researching new ways to make their facilities safer. The policies and the chapter's ability to enforce those policies create a living environment that would reassure any parents concerned about their daughter's well-being.

Never can you know a girl thouroughly until you have seen her with her face dabbed with cold cream, her hair skinned back and done up in curl papers... If your aquaintance can bear such close scrutiny as that, you may be sure it is a friendship based on the firm foundation of personal worth and not upon the shifting sands of mere outward appearance. It is only within the walls of a chapter house that such close personal contact is possible.
